Safety measures for secure relaxation

‘A friendly home-from-home’: The Löwen Hotel Montafon is synonymous with carefree breaks and cordial hospitality. As well as ensuring you enjoy the feel-good factor, the health and safety of our guests – and our staff – are given top priority. We have tightened up our already stringent hygiene guidelines* to guarantee you a safe and enjoyable stay.

The safety measures developed within the framework of our hygiene standards are flexibly adapted to the official regulations in force in each situation. Currently, the incidence of people newly infected with the corona virus in Austria is being held at a low level, and regulations are being eased appropriately and accordingly.

The Hygiene Measures in detail

Although we can’t greet you with a hearty handshake, you’ll be welcomed with a genuinely friendly smile. All check-in and check-out procedures have been made as efficient and contactless as possible. Please try to settle your invoice (1) on the evening prior to departure and (2) pay via credit card.

We have agreed a limit on the number of people given access to areas open to hotel guests at any one time. In addition, we have demarcated distances and ask guests and employees to adhere to the minimum distance of 1.5 metres at all times.

Frequently-touched surfaces, such as light switches, door handles and knobs, remote controls, key-cards, lift buttons, taps and toilets are disinfected regularly and frequently.

There are plenty of disinfectant dispensers throughout the entire hotel for guests and employees. In addition, there are small bottles of hand disinfectant in every hotel room.

Hotel guests are not required to wear face coverings, and the requirement for hotel industry employees to do so was also recently revoked. Nevertheless, to ensure our guests enjoy maximum protection, we have decided to keep wearing them. All employees in direct contact with guests will continue to wear masks or visors, or work behind protective windows.

Each employee has been given detailed safety and hygiene training for his/her specific job. The health status of our staff is monitored via regular testing.

The restaurant and diners’ sun deck have been adapted to ensure safe dining at the required distances. All functional infrastructure, such as table surfaces and menus, is disinfected after every use.

You are very welcome to use the immensely spacious spa area. Key rules on safe behaviour within the hotel complex are clearly signposted in all respective areas.

Of course, guests who can show they are unable to come to the hotel, as they have tested positive for the corona virus, have the right to cancel or reschedule bookings free of charge.

The health of all guests and employees is of utmost importance. Please be vigilant and adhere to the following guidelines should you exhibit symptoms of the corona illness:

  • Should you fall ill before you leave home, please stay there and do not travel – for your sake and the health of others!
  • If, during your stay, you suffer from a dry cough, sore throat, shortness-of-breath, a sudden loss of the sense of smell or taste, whether you have a high temperature or not – please remain in your hotel room and call reception without delay! We will contact the doctor on duty immediately and the responsible authority with whom we cooperate to agree subsequent safety measures which will be implemented in compliance with current statutory medical guidelines.
